Chiappa 1911-22 Rimfire Pistol
It looks like there's a new rimfire pistol coming on the market, and I can't wait to get one to review. It's made in Italy by Armi Chiappa, and it's closely based on the 1911. So far it sounds pretty good, and there's a few early reports that it's definitely a nice shooter.
Here's a link to more information
It's being distributed by MKS Supply, which is also Hi-Point Firearms and Charter Arms.
Stay tuned on this one!

$300 bucks for a .22 in any form is pretty awesome.
I don't know about the rest of Chiappa's guns but I recently picked up one of their Bounty Hunters (Mare's Leg) in 45LC. It is nice because is very very close to an original Winchester 1892. And right out of the box the action was very smooth and all the pieces, wood and metal were nicely finished and fitted. If it is an example of their workmanship the 22 ought to be very nice.
Gee, Mr. C do you think you can fit a 12" barrel on it?
