Hunter Ed in Juneau

From the Juneau Empire:

Dzantik'i Heeni Middle School students Monica McFadden, left, and Lilliam Marvin shoot .22-caliber rifles Wednesday at the Alaska Department of Fish and Game Hunter Education and Indoor Shooting Range. The sixth-graders were taught firearm safety and how to shoot during the class.

Hat tip to Steve for the story.

Glad to see that some school systems in the U.S. still has some common sense folk running them.

Can't decide if the photo is reversed or if the girl is really a lefty and shooting a left hand bolt action.
