Blogger Blastorama Oct. 30th. Pre-Announcement Announcement (?)

Hey all you Pacific Northwest bloggers, blog readers, lurkers, shooters, and your friends, mark your calendars for Sunday October 30th. for the Blogger Blastorama, to be held at the Central Whidbey Sportsman's Assn. range in Coupeville, Washington, on Whidbey Island.

So far everything is tentative and subject to change, so be sure to check back later for the latest "Official" announcement. Depending on who's coming and from where, there may be some car-pooling across the ferry and up to the range.

The day's schedule looks something like this:

Breakfast (optional) on South Whidbey at the Clover Patch Cafe at 10:30 am.

Meet other Blogger Blaster folks at the cafe at 11:30 and drive to the range, roughly 20 minute drive.

The specifics at the range have not been finalised, but we are looking at hand gun bowling pin shooting (no FMJ ammo, Hollow points OK). We will also be shooting rifles at up to 200 yards, very possibly at REAL PUMPKINS! BANG - SPLAT - WOO HOO !

We may also do something on the handgun range such as some fun silhouette shooting and/or targets.

Please be advised that this is a Pre-Announcement Announcement - so everything is still very flexible, and may change.
