Oh, Gosh, Mr. Completely, thanks for linking to me. I think I will need a ton of practice to be as good as John (of Argghhh!) is - he had 50 shots in the center of his target.

Please, please, please tell them BOTH to get that weak hand thumb along the left side of the frame!
This is a semi-auto folks! It oscillates! ... and that oscillation WILL cut grooves in her weak hand thumb as soon as it sneaks into range, as it will with a (more correct) higher grip.
Ditto, that was the first thing I saw in the picture. As an instructor I've seen both sexes make the same mistake. I explain & explain to'em what's going to happen & I'll remind them 3 times on the range, after that it's 'learn for yourself the hard way'. Haven't seen anyone repeat after having the hide barked off. Quite a sight to see a guy's wife behind the firing line bent over double laughing "he told you not to do that you dumb butt".
