Unfortunately, they didn't accept my submission. I can't imagine why???
I could really use a new gun rack. Mine is getting full. The thing is, my dad built that one when I was about 5 and I just can't make myself get a newer/bigger one.
By the way, the Double Action Frontier Model long Colt in the display case over my left shoulder (I'm facing the camera so it's to the right of me in the photo) has been in my family for three generations.

Dear Sailorcurt
aka Captain of a Crew of One,
I don't mean to be disrespectful but shouldn't the first line read:
Children and sheep need to be protected.
Yup. My wife pointed it out to me as well. She said it makes me sound like a hillbilly.
Well, I'm not from the hills, but I proudly accept the designation "redneck" (as if the flannel shirt wasn't a clue) so...if the shoe fits...
At any rate, my goal was to get the message across while leaving as much of the picture unobscured as possible. Grammar was a secondary consideration.
By the way...constructive criticism is NEVER disrespectful if approached properly.
One of the most important things that I've learned in my years on this earth is: I've still got a lot to learn.
Too bad more people aren't willing to step up to the plate & take responsibility for their own safety! Too many whiners out there today!
