Terry Kelly - A Pittance of Time

Pittance of Time

On November 11, 1999 Terry Kelly was in a Shoppers Drug Mart store in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. At 10:55 AM an announcement came over the store’s PA asking customers who would still be on the premises at 11:00 AM to give two minutes of silence in respect to the veterans who have sacrificed so much for us. This song is based on what happened in the drug store that day.

I like this song and like the message too.

I was born in the city of Reims, east part of France, many fights occured there during the first world war as german tried to seize the city.

Our ancestors have fought, suffered and died there, my parents learnt me to honor their memory.

I have nothing but respect for people who fought for their countries or ideas, whatever the side they were fighting for.

For an american soldier it must be very hard because he always fights far away from his country.

Great Video ! The sacrifice of the few for the good of the many is always a noble deed. Pray to GOD that our present Congress can remember that!!!
