That brings up an interesting question. What exactly defines "BBQ"? If you cook over propane but use BBQ sauce is it BBQ? How about cooking over an open wood fire, but no BBQ sauce? I had a great meal a few months back where they lightly smoked the ribs first, then cooked them over an open propane fire with BBQ sauce. Tasted like BBQ to me, but maybe you need to be born in Texas to provide the answer...

Some say that doing it directly over the fire is grilling, off to the side or better yet the heat in a seperate fire box, like I do, is bbq'ing. Language though varies based on where you are ;-) Technically I roast a half a blackie, smoke a chunk of meat, grill a steack, etc etc... whatever, everyone is an expert on bbq'ing, lol.

By the way, I just posted my last post for the summer. Hiatus time - have a great summer Mr. C! (DeFens is at the helm on my site, and you just got one of my last comments, God bless ya bro!)
