Rivrdog is Blogging Again
Rivrdog has resumed blogging, at least I THINK it's Rivrdog, but I'm not too sure. He's given me a hard time for years over me using red dot sights on many of my race pistols, calling them "Gizmo sights". Now, according to his blog, he's planning on putting Gizmo Sights on several of his rifles and shotguns!
Who are you REALLY, and what did you do with Rivrdog?

I have to admit the age of my eyes. The only pistol sight I can see clearly is on my Glock, and for long guns on my M14.
Accomodation problem, and it even extends to glass optics, the crosshairs of which are indistinct at some ranges.
I might have to go to the VERY expensive magnifying reflex sights for my long-range Boomershoot weapon.
In the short term, the addition of reflex sights on my Marlin 1894, my Marlin Camp 45 and my (new) Mossberg Security 500A should keep me in (short-range) fighting shape.
I am going to look into getting the peepers remodeled by laser, also.

But here's a thought I came up with about the Gunblogger Rondezvous next year:
How about we meet at the the Knob Creek Machine-gun shoot-fest?

US Citizen: Fine with me, but I don't have any Class 3. A good buddy has some sort of Mac 10 clone, though, and he might be persuaded to come. We'd have to drive, of course.
OTOH, YOU could being some C3 gunz...
