Upcoming CWSA Hanging Plate Shoot

If you live in Western Washington and have been tempted to try a hanging plate shoot, this Sunday, May 7th. would be a good time to give it a try.

The CWSA Rimfire Hanging Plate Shoots are informal and fun, and no one takes them too seriously.

The marksmanship required is not high, and steady and accurate is the secret, rather than speed. The skill levels of the shooters varies widely, and it's all for fun, anyway.

If you can hit a 4" circle at 10 yards, or an 8" circle at 25 yards most of the time, you'll do fine!

For a more complete description of the rules and some pictures from the last CWSA Rimfire Hanging Plate Shoot, have a look here.

You should plan on being at the CWSA range between 8:30 and 9 in the morning for sign-up.

Check the Central Whidbey Sportsman's Assn. (CWSA) website for driving directions, or drop me an email if you have any specific questions.

Hope you can make it!
