e-Postal Rifle Match Hosts Update

This year's e-Postal rifle matches are being hosted by a different blogger each month. If you are a blogger and would like to host one of the e-Postal matches, let me know at the email address below.

The rifle matches are usually announced on (or a few days before) the first Monday of the month, and should run for about three weeks. The starting dates and ending dates are shown below.

You pick out the target (or design your own), make it available for download, decide on the rules, and get the rules posted for all to see.

Shooters then download the target, print out a copy of the rules, and head out to the range to shoot the targets. The results are then emailed in to you. You check them over, and post the results.

The hardest part of e-Postal match design is how to make it a challenge and yet something lots of folks could shoot, without it being so specialized that only three or four people enter. By far the biggest problem with e-Postal matches is lack of participation. It needs to be challenging and fun too!

Over on the right sidebar are links to all of the rifle and pistol e-Postal matches so far.

There's probably a rule set there close to what you might want to use, after a bit of editing. Reading through all of the rules sets should give you a good feel for the matches.

If you'd like to host one of the upcoming rifle matches, drop me an email at
