Had the chance to fire several sub-guns with silencers over the years, some were downright impressive.
The real surprise to me was one a guy had on an AR15 one day. Standard supersonic ammo, yet you could hear the sound of the bullet hitting the backstop over the sound of the shot.
A funny thing about Washington state law is that its legal to own a silencer, but you can't use it! Check the wa-ccw archives on yahoo (if you can stand their search function) for the relevant messages.

Silencertests.com is just a site to talk about AAC silencers. you will get bias talk towards AAC. They make good cans but so do alot of others at much better prices.
