Why I have not been posting

This post by Keewee.

The short version.

Thursday evening MrC was rushed to the hospital with chest pains. He had his gall bladder removed early Friday morning.
Thank goodness it was not his heart, although the gall bladder surgery and it's aftermath has not been, and still is not, a picnic in the park.

His stats as of today are: there was infection involved with the gall bladder, so he is on heavy duty antibiotics.
He lost quite a lot of blood so had been transfused twice.
This morning I was told he has puemonia which is been taken care of with more antibiotics.

MrC will probably bere here at Whidbey General Hospital for a couple more days, depending on how well his body responds to all the treatments.

Please remember my honey in your prayers, he is not out of the woods yet.

If they're given him an incentive spirometer to exercise his lungs, stay on him to use it.

He'll get out quicker if he does.

Trust your doing better and here's to a speedy recovery.

Funny story, and coincidence. Tuesday evening, about 11:30 EST - right after Obama was named president, my mother in law calls frantically. Father in law is in pain, horrible chest pains and his arm is numb.

He had a 5 way by pass a couple of years ago, and we fear for the worst (and that it was Obamas doing).

Instead, turns out to be his gall bladder - of which he has now been relieved.

Now that you are home and taking care of Rocket, don't push it and take the time to heal-up properly. I know this is all Obomer's falt but life will go on. Soon you will be back to doing things around the house cleaning, polishing and straihtening up ---- your guns! Luke
