US Navy EOD hit by an IED
A Hummer Trike?
I'd hate to have to explain this to my car insurance company!

The V-hull bottoms work best with mines you run over and are detonated underneath the vehicle.
I believe most of these IEDs come from the side, so the benefit would be reduced.
