US Navy EOD hit by an IED

A Hummer Trike?

I'd hate to have to explain this to my car insurance company!

Here's all the information I have on these pictures:

"US Navy EOD, Mobile Unit guys hit by an IED. All survived uninjured, thanks in large part to up-armored Hummer!!"

If any of you have any further details, let us know in the comments. Thanks!

Hat tip to Fuze (Ex Navy EOD, hence the nickname)

A bit of duct tape a some spray paint and it'll be just like new again.

They need to make the humvee with v-hull bottom. It worked real well for the South African during their bush war.

The V-hull bottoms work best with mines you run over and are detonated underneath the vehicle.
I believe most of these IEDs come from the side, so the benefit would be reduced.
