Some Gun Blogger Rendezvous Notes
The Rendezvous is almost here, but there is still time to get in on the fun if you hurry. Call the Circus Circus hotel and make your reservations ASAP. Fill out the Rendezvous Registration and bring it to the hotel along with your thirty bucks. Thursday evening after dinner I'll most likely be in the Hospitality room with the rest of the gang, so you can find me there. Friday from around 2pm to around 5pm we'll all be there for the NRA and for Show&Tell.
Be sure to bring a few ten dollar bills to buy some raffle tickets, too. That Para is sweet! It will be there in person, and Andy at Hi Cap Gun Works has already seen it in person. Here's his take on it:
45. acp limited edition. Helluva nice gun man. It's made off of a 1911 model obviously. Adjustable sights 8+1 rounds. Colored front sight for easy eye train. Extended ambidextrous thumb safety. Grip safety. Very well crafted well balanced weapon. Somebody is getting lucky.Gun blogger firearms are starting to arrive at Hi Cap Gun Works, and some of the door prizes and raffle prizes are arriving, too.
I got an email from Jim, a last minute attendee who lives in Reno and had this to say:
I will bring my NFA papered FNC for everyone to shoot if they have any extra 223. Full auto Belgian assault rifles are always fun.If you've got some extra .223 you will want to bring it along, or ship it to Hi Cap Gun Works, and we'll all be glad to help you shoot it up!
This year's Rondy is shaping up to be by far the best ever, so there's still time to get on board, but do it now! You don't want to have to wait until next year, do you?
See you all in Reno!!!
