A REAL Shootout

"When Armed Militants 24-year-old Chevie Kehoe and 20-year-old Cheyne Kehoe were pulled over by the Ohio Highway Patrol, the two suspected murderers came out shooting. Remarkably, nobody was shot, but the two very bad guys got away and were at large for a long time."

If you've never visited Bob tuley's website, where I found these videos, get yourself a big cup of coffee and head on over there. There's a ton of good info and articles on a number of different handgun and shooting topics.

Looks like the close-in trooper is in a pin-shooting crouch...

I ran across this one over at Glock talk yesterday, it doesn't have a good outcome.

It came from this thread with this warning.

The video depicts a traffic stop shooting. The police officer gives the beligerant suspect over a minute to comply with his orders, and doesn't shoot even as the suspect pulls an M1 from his truck and draws a bead on him.

Warning: The video is graphic. The officer didn't survive. It's going to make you angry and ruin your day. Even if you decide not to view it, just take this important lesson: If there is a situation where you will be called on to use your weapon, it will NOT be on your terms and everything in you will want to be somewhere else. Don't let it freeze you up, like it did this poor man. He left behind a wife and toddler. He was 22.

A pin shooting crouch is a good thing. You never know when the pins are going to return fire.....

Hey, that's my thread description!

I feel famous, in a weird and twisted sort of way.

I remember seeing the blue truck shootout on TV. The cops did good on that one.

The one I posted, on the other hand, had me trembling for half an hour.

Hmmm . . . well, the police certainly controlled that confrontation, didn't they?

Thanx to Carnival of Cordite for bringing this post to my attention. I don't get out enough, or I would have read this when you posted it.
