Overheard at a Steel Match.....

RO: "You need to aim a bit higher."

Shooter: "They've been telling me that all my life......"

You should never take competitive shooting so seriously that it stops being fun!

Bea and I certainly had fun. We were discussing her magazine problems, and it occurred to me that you never see a shooter lose his/her temper and throw down a gun when things don't go as planned; sportsmen in other fields should take a lesson. You just work through it and do your best. Bea has her strategy all worked out to diagnose which mags work and which need adjustment, so next year she will be hard to beat!

She has been on the phone with Mr. Brown of Hi-Point this AM, and her carbine should be arriving this week. Photos and a range report will be forthcoming. If she likes this gun, she is planning to buy another in.45 and bring both to GBR-VI.
