Denise over at The Ten Ring has a good post up on her M1 Garand, including a bit of history on the Garands, and on John Cantius Garand, the inventor of these fine rifles.

Thanks for the link and the kind words on the post. I have a gun on layaway right now that I may be able to pick up this weekend or within the next two weeks. That might be close enough for a BBAGA gun...maybe? Thanks again,
