Gene Pool Improvement Attempt Fails

In Witchita a would be kidnapper made a fairly good attempt to remove himself from the gene pool. When he pushed his handgun into his waistband he managed to discharge the weapon, striking himself in the left testicle. Apparently when he flinched, he managed to fire a second shot, this time into his left calf.

The cops arrested him at the hospital.

Just too bad he didn't take another couple of shots, after all, everyone misses once in a while......

The whole story is here.

Credit to AP for carrying the story, and to Marc for letting me know about it!

Yea.. Too bad it missed his right testicle with the second shot...

I got 50 bucks says he was holding the gun Sideways (slide to the side instead of up) like a gangsta right before he tried to neuter himself...

If the second round had struck the object just to the right of his left testicle would it have been a successful "PIN" shot?

Here's a similar "incident" from the other side of the legal fence:

A clumsy New Zealand policeman, who was attending a domestic dispute, accidentally shot himself and a teenager with a stun gun.

The constable was loading his weapon - to stun a man at the centre of the incident - when he accidentally blasted himself with the Taser's 50,000 volts, the New Zealand Herald reports.

Another shot hit the man's 16-year-old son.

After five attempts to hit the man, the officer eventually used pepper spray. But he succeeded only in hitting the man's 21-year-old daughter - an unintended target.

The wanted man eventually gave himself up.

OUCH!
