B-17, B-52, and maybe a B-24

A B-17 and a B-52. What a great picture! Click on it for a bigger view.
Is that the bottom of a B-24 vertical stabilizer?

Thanks to Mary for the picture!

That's cool. I just set it as my desktop background.

That's a B-52F (BUFF) in the background and a B-17G (Flying Fortress) in the forground.

The picture was most likely shot from a B-25 North American Mitchell since there's only one or two B-24 Liberators in airworthy condition but there are Beaucoup B-24's plying the airways!

I meant there are loads of B-25's plying the airways. Both the 24 & 25 feature the "split twin" vertical stablizers.

IF I remember correctly, the B24 is flatter across the bottom edge, so I'd put my money on it being a B25.
